Rescue

 On 31.8.2018 at about 16.10 hrs, an information received at the station that a fishing boat from Kollam named Alputhamatha was drowning due to the leackage of lower side, 5 NM  away at sea from Poothura Church, the station party rushed to the spot in our 12 ton interceptor boat and rescued the fishermen Stephen and Stegin and brought them safely to the harbour along with the damaged boat
