JURISDICTION

                 The places or areas that come under the jurisdiction of  the Mullaperiyar Police Station  is  the  area in the reservoir when the water level reaches142 feet,   Mullaperiyar dam, Baby dam, the Earth dam, the Spillway and the area in and around the shutter at Thekkady  through  which Tamil Nadu takes water. One can get access to this Police Station by boat from Thekkady (15k.m) and by Jeep from Vandiperiyar via Vallakadavu -- through jungle route(17k.m)
