Flood rescue operations

A heavy flood occurred in all over Kerala in the year 2018. As a result a heavy rainfall and thereby a large number of landslides occurred from Pothundy to Nelliyampathy. The roads were damaged at around 17 places in the Nelliyampathy area. The food articles were airlifted to Nelliyampathy. At this time the rescue operations performed by the the  police personnel of Padagiri PS were highly appreciated
