Alappuzha Traffic Police Station

The Traffic Police Station, Alappuzha was opened on 26.08.2006 vide GO(Rt) No.1100/2004 Home Dtd.17.05.2004. It is functioning in a newly constructed building No.XXXIII/1798 of Allissery ward, Alappuzha Municipality, which as inagurated by Sri. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the Minister for Home and Tourism, Kerala vide GO(Rt.) No. 2927/2011 Homed dtd.14.03.2008. The jurisdiction of the Traffic Police station is coming under the area of Alappuzha North and South Police Stationan limits that is the entire town area of Alappuzha. The Magisterial Jurisdiction of Traffic Police Station is the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Alappuzha. Shri. Shajimon Joseph was the first Sub-Inspector of this station and S. Asharaf is the present Sub-Inspector holding the charge of Traffic Police station from 12.10.2017 onwards.
