Only one Panchayath i.e. Ayyampuzha is in this jurisdiction. As per last censes, population in this Panchayath is 15021. Most of the area covered with Reserve Forest and Kalady Plantation. There are four forest stations and 12187.54 Hector forest area in this Police Station limits. So many wild animals like elephants, dear, tiger etc.. are living in the Reserve Forest.
