Chadayamangalam Police Station

Chadayamangalam Police Station is one of the important Police Stations in the Kollam Rural Police District. This police station is located at Chadayamangalam Junction near the Thiruvananthapuram-Angamaly State Highway (SH-1). It is under the jurisdiction of the Kottarakkara Sub-Division. Chadayamangalam Police Station started functioning on 12.10.1983. Until then, Chadayamangalam was just an outpost of Kadakkal Police Station.

The inauguration of the new Police Station was done by Hon. Chief Minister Sri. K Karunakaran on 12.10.1983. Chadayamangalam, Nilamel, Ittiva, Kottukkal, Elamadu and Edamulakkal villages are formed the geographical area of this station.

Jadayu Para, the world's largest bird sculpture, is located near the Chadayamangalam Police Station. It is a major tourist destination in India. This tourist destination is also known as Jadayu Earth Center and Jadayu Nature Park.
