JURISDICTION

The jurisdiction of Chadayamangalam police station covers Chadayamangalam Grama panchayath Edamulackal Grama Panchayath & Alayamon Grama Panchayath and Chadayamangalam, Arakkal, Edamulackal Alayamon & Channappetta villages. Some part of Kollam Parliamentary constituency and Punalur Legislative Assembly comes under the jurisdiction of this Police Station. Border Police stations are Kadakkal Punalur Pathanapuram Kottarakkara. It is under the jurisdiction of Kadakkal Circle office of Punalur Sub-division. Its Jurisdictional Courts are JFMC I Punalur SDMC Kollam. “Jadayu Para” veiling a myth of the huge bird Jadayu of thretha yuga, who obstructed Ravana while he was abducting Sitha to Lanka in Pushpak Vimanam and seriously injured by Ravana. Now it has become both a tourist center and pilgrim center. Jadayu Para is important land mark comes under the jurisdiction of Chadayamanglam Police Station.
