Arthunkal Coastal Police Station

Arthunkal is a coastal town and a major pilgrim centre in the south Indian state of Kerala. It is 43 kilometre south of Cochin city and 21 kilometre north of Alleppey town. It is a rapidly developing satellite town of Kochi. Arthunkal lies in the taluk of Cherthala, which is in turn a part of the district of Alleppey.Here the Coastal Police station is functioning In Cherthala south Panchayath ward 19 Near the Arthunkal Beach This coastal Police station is functioning from 27/6/2017 The Honble Chief minister Sri Pinarayi Vijan is inagurated by Video Conferece Coastal Police, as the name suggests, will be on the coast to ensure India’s Coastal Security. Govt. of India as a part of scheme has sanctioned 8 Coastal Police Stations in the statewide Coastal Security Scheme – II Coastal Police Station, Thottappally was started functioning on 27.06.2017 vide Government Order No. GO (Rt) 1586/2015/Home/TVM, dated:24.06.2015 The station building (Building No. 15A of Cherthala south grama panchayath ward XIX ) was constructed by the KPHCC in the available police land an extent of Survey No 312 Area 20.24 Ars inArthunkal Village Coastal Police Station, Arthunkal in Alappuzha District was inaugurated on27 th June 2017 by Sri.
