COTPA case - Kalady Police arrested two accused persons and seized 9000 packets of Hans on 06.09.17

Around 9,000 packets of Hans worth approximately Rs 4 lakh was seized by Kalady Police on 06.09.2017 night during vehicle checking at Kalady Town. Police arrested 1)Sharafudheen age 31, S/o Shamsudheen, Puthiyamaliyekal House, Nattukalkkara, Ottappalam, Palakkad District, 2) Ali age 26, S/o Abdulla, Kalekkal House, Pattikad, Karivattom, Malappuram District. Following a chase of the arrested duo, who sped off when the Police signaled them to stop for vehicle checking. The arrested were smuggling Hans, which they were planning to sell to the migrant labourers and students in the Kalady – Perumbavoor area.
