Man arrested for stealing vehicle parked near hospital

 Kollam East police have arrested a man for stealing a vehicle parked near Kollam Victoria Hospital. The arrested has been identified as Binu (27), son of Mohan of Sree Bhavanam near Varinjam village office in Kalluvathukkal panchayat. On the night of 20.05.2022, a Honda Dio parked near Victoria Hospital in Kollam was stolen and fled. Following this, an investigation was conducted with the help of CCTV footage and the accused was arrested. He was arrested from near the Polayathodu market after he was identified. A team led by Kollam East SHO R Ratheesh and comprising SIs Balachandran, Pramod Kumar, SCPO Sajeev and Sunil Thomas, under the supervision of Kollam ACP G D Vijayakumar, arrested the accused. He was produced in court and remanded.
