Assam Native Arrested in Theft Case

An Assam native has been arrested in connection with a theft case. The accused, Faizuddin (23), a native of Simoluguri, was arrested by the Kunnathunad Police.

The theft took place on May 30 at a rented room in Bhandarakavala, Pattimattom, where the complainant, a native of Kanyakumari, was staying.

The stolen items included eight sovereigns of gold ornaments, ₹1,20,000 in cash, the registration certificate (RC) book of a scooter, and a signed cheque leaf.
