JURISDICTION

Kunnicode PS is under the administrative Jurisdiction of the Kottarakkara Subdivision. It is located on the eastern side of the Kollam-Thirumangalam NH-744 at Kunnicode Junction and about 2 KM away from Avaneeswaram railway station of Kollam –Schencottah railway line. Kunnikode police station is located at a distance of 8.5 km from Kottarakkara, 9.5 km from Pathanapuram and 10 km from Punalur. Kunnicode is a part of the Pathanapuram Assembly in Mavelikara Lok Sabha constituency. The Jurisdiction comprises complete villages of Thalavoor, Pattazhy, Vilakudy, and part of Chakkuvarakkal, Pidavoor, and Melila. The river Kallada passes through Kamukincherry, Pidavoor in the station limit. The famous Pattazhy Devi Temple and Thalavoor Devi Temple are situated within the limit of this Police Station.
