NDPS Act case-Kuruppampady Police arrested accused on 04.08.17

Kuruppampady police arrested a Tamil Nadu native with 5.3kg ganja. The accused, Senthil Kumar (32), was arrested from near Kuruppampady bus stand. Police, posing as customers, approached Kumar with an offer to take the contraband in bulk. He was arrested when he brought the contraband to the police. The accused was a key player who used to peddle the contraband among college going students in the area. He was under observation for two weeks and was waiting to arrest him. The police had received information about the accused from college students who were nabbed with miniscule quantities of the contraband. It is one of the biggest seizures in the recent days.
