Mannarkkad Police Station

The station was opened as a charging station till 1912.at the time of re-allocation it was converted into an outpost and the OP was raised to a charging station on 15.05.1926.The Station has been functioning in the new building since 14.08.1976, located near to the Mannarkkad Muncipality Office and 500 meters away from Mannarkkad Private Bus stand.The Mannarkkad Police Station is one of the heaviest police stations in respect or law and order as well as reporting crime cases. About 2000 cases are being reported in the police station average per year. The Police Station consists of  Mannarkkad Municipality and 6 Panchayaths namely Kumaramputhur, Kanjirapuzha, Kottopadam, Thenkara and  potions of Karimbuzha, and Karakurussi Panchayaths.
