The Station function under the supervision of Nedumkandam Police Inspector, within the Kattappana Sub. Division which in turn Comes under the authority of Idukki District Police Chief. The prominant tourist Locations Ramakkalmedu & Kattadipadam which are known for their natural scenic beauty and one of the main pilgrims centers of the district, Ezhukumvayal Kurishumala are all located within the limit of the station
