Remanded for spreading anti-religious messages on social media

Ochira police have arrested a man for spreading anti-religious messages on social media. Sathyan's son Sanith Sathyan (29) was arrested at Sajith Bhavan in Varavila room in Klappana village. He was arrested for spreading religious hateful messages on Facebook. The Kollam City Social Media Cell's surveillance of social media focused on the offensive messages. Kollam City Police Commissioner Narayanan T IPS had registered a case against him on the basis of evidence under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The city police commissioner said strict action would be taken against those who spread such propaganda through social media.
