Accused in several theft cases arrested. Perumbavoor police arrested Biju (50) of Mankuzhikunnel house in Kavalangad, Nellimattom. He broke into the house in the Vattakkadtupadi area and stole a gold necklace weighing one and a half Pawan that the housewife was wearing. The incident took place at 7 am. He entered the house by breaking the window bar in the kitchen area and opening the back door. The accused, who had committed the theft and escaped, was caught by surprise from the Vattakkadtupadi area.
