Aroor Police Station was opened on 02.10.1983 as per notification No. GO (Rt) No. 3038 / 83 / Home dated 01.10.1983 , First SHO of the station is Sri. Baburajan. Now the station shifted to rented buiding of Chandiroor Co-Operative Bank No 959 on 21.3.2015 in building No XI/75-in Sy No 72/9B of Aroor Village,. Aroor Panchayath, Cherthala Thaluk, Alpy Dist as per GO Rt NO 2896/14 Home dtd 4.11.2014 . Aroor Police Station jurisdiction includes two Grama panchayath Aroor and Ezhupunna .
