Boarder Crossed ship caught by Coastal Police

On 2/02/2016 boat patrolling party of Azheekal Coastal Police Station, while on boat patrolling in the sea an information was received from Sri. C H Abdul Salam, Boat owner that he saw a ship around 17 Nm away from Azheekal Coast sailing from South to North. The boat patrolling team rushed to the spot in the North west direction in the Arabian Sea and located the suspicious ship 10 NM away from Mount Dhili, Ezhimala and boarded the ship and searched and verified the details of the crew and the ship. The Ship was named "CLIPPER" (No P001021, IMO No 7714313 ) and it was sailing from Brazil to Gujarat for demolishing and dismantling. The following police personnel of Azheekal CPS participated in the boat patrolling and conducted search for the ship. A. Kuttukrishnan SI, Sasidharan KP SI (C-3054) Girish Babu MV, SI of Police ( C-3150) , Suresh C, CPO 5992 and Rajesh K, CPO 6134 conducted the operation by facing high risk and displaying devotion to duty.
