Chathannur Police Station

Chathannoor police Station was opened on 01/4/1964,at 11.15 Am as per Go(MS)No782/19/2/1964 by Sri. Velukutty Nair,DYSP,Quilon. This station was selected as model Police station by DYSP Quilon vide letter No C1 68017/72 of IGP dated 12/9/1972. The Police station was shifted to the new building on 21/10/1980.The new building was inagurated by Sri.T.K .Ramachandran,hon'le home Minister of Kerala. s
