Police have arrested a young man for inciting a minor girl to commit suicide

Chathannoor police have arrested a youth for inciting a minor girl to commit suicide under the Pocso Act. Shivajith (21), son of Santosh Kumar, was arrested by the police.He had been making frequent phone calls since December last year to sexually assault a minor girl. He then befriended the girl and later fell in love. But he constant Phone calls can be stressful for a girl and The girl tried to commit suicide. The hospital is on a ventilator with serious injuries. Chathannoor Inspector Justin John led SIs Asha B. Rekha, Salim Kumar, ASI Anil Kumar, CPOs Anil Kumar,The accused was nabbed by a team comprising Sunil Kumar and Ranjith.He was remanded.
