Chengamanadu Police Station

Chengamanad Police Station, in Ernakulam Rural District is functioning under Angamali Circle of Aluva Sub Division. The Police Station started functioning from 28.03.1981 in building no: PV/152 (rented building) situated in survey no: 768/2 of Chengamanad Kara in Chengamanad village of Aluva Taluk. vide G.O.(Rt) No. 742/81/Home dated 25.03.1981, as per notification in the Kerala Gazette as SRO No. 378/81. The Police Station then shifted to the newly constructed Government building(Vll/143 A) in Sy. No. 148/12 & 148/9A of Chengamand village on 14.07.1988 vide G.O. (Rt) No. 787/88 dated 23.06.1988. This Police Station has jurisdiction over Kunnukara village in full and parts of Chengamanad, Nedumbassery, Parakkadavu and Puthenvelikkara villages
