Home nurse arrested for stealing gold jewelery from bed patient

Homners who came to treat a bedridden patient were caught by the Iravipuram police in the theft of gold jewellery. Sajith's daughter Sreeja (41) was caught by the police in Perurthara, Kayamkulam Pathiyur. Sreeja had come towards the end of last month to treat a bed-ridden patient in Kunnathkav, Thekewila. They came on a one-month contract basis and took away the earring and ring worn by the patient and replaced them with mukkupandam. 

After completing the contract, they returned without informing their family. Suspicious about this, the family members found out that the patient had Mukkupandam and filed a complaint at the Iravipuram police station. Subsequently, the police registered a case and arrested the accused.
