Gandhinagar Police Station

Gandhinagar Police station was functioning from 26/01/70, formally known as Arpookara Police Station. After that this station renamed as Gandhinagar Police Station as per G.O. (Rt) 2374/ Home  dated  16/06/76. The station came under the jurisdiction of Kottayam East Circle w.e.f. 15/01/95vide G.O. (MS) 15/95 Home dated 27/01/95. Janamaithri Suraksha Project was implemented in Gandhinagar Police Station on10/12/12Gandhi Nagar Police Station started functioning in new building from 13/2/2014. Sanctioned strength of the Police Station is 56 and the existing strength is 48.
