Government have accorded sanction for the opening the old police station opened by Sri, N.Chandrasekharan Nair I.P.S Inspector General of Police on 10.11.1995 as GO NO. H2 20696/55/CS Dtd.30.9.1955 a new police station at Kanjar in idukki District as per GO(Rt) No.114/77/Home Dated12.1.1977.The area of jurisdiction of Arakulam ,Elappalli,Velliyamattom,and Kudayathoor villages covered by the Police Station ,Declare that the building No. 337 in Ward No.IV of Kudayathoor Panchayathu in The Police station started at new building on 31.12.1976
