Karamana Police Station

Karamana police station started its functioning on 23.08.2005 and is located at Karamana Ward and the station includes four villages namely Manacaud, Thirumala,Thycaud, Nemom areas having 8 corporation wards namely Karamana , Valiyasala , Nedumcaud, Aaranoor, Pappanamcode, Mudavanmugal, Kalady, Melamcode and is functioning in a rented two storeyed building at Karamana. The station having boarder stations namely Fort Police Station, Nemom Police Station, Thiruvallam police Station, Poojappura Police Station, Thampanoor police Station . The station area includes public offices namely Technical Educational Department and RTTC at Kaimanam, Survey office at Kunjalummodu,Tax Tower at Kailas Junction, Sub registrar Office at Killipalam, KSRTC central Works at Pappanamcode, KSEB at CIT Road.The Educational institutions namely SCT college of Engineering at Pappanamcode, NSS College for Women and MMRHSS school at Neeramankara, Women Polytechnic and Amritha HSS at Kaimanam, St' Marys HS at Narippil, Govt HSS School for Girls and Boys at Karamana
