Karimkunnam Police Station

The date of Opening of of Karimkunnam Police station was on 28.08.1978.The Government of Kerala vide Gazette notification Vol(XXVII Trivandraum dtd. 1th july 1982 pulicshed through Home € Department notification G.O RT No. 1770/82/Home dtd. 13.07.1982 declare that the building no V-112 and 113 of Karimkunnam Pachayath, Thodupuzha Taluk she be a police station known as Karimkunnam POlice Station with jurisdictionof Purappuzha village (karas Vengallur, Kuninji, Chelavur,, Melepurappuzha, Choorallur, Kezh Purappuzha) Karimkunam village (Karas Ottallur, Mrala (a portion), Thattarathatta (east), Kolani (south), Karimkunnam)The New police staiton building was opened by Hon'ble Home MInister of Keral Sri. Vayalar Ravi on 05.10.1984 vide G.O (Rt) NO. 2710/84/Home/ dtd. 29.09.1984. the function presided by honourable Revenue Minster Sri. P.J Joseph. the newly constructed builidng is the governemtn builidng No 10 in Ward NOII of Karimkunnam Panchayath.
