Kenichira Police Station

Kenichira Police Station was Opened on 04.12.1982 in a rented building in Kenichira with in Poothadi Panchayath. Ward no. V-712 as per GO. (Rt) 3232/82. Home dt. 03.12.82 with Jurisdiction of Poothadi Village, which was included in Kamblakkad,Sulthanbathery, and Pulpally Police Station Limits. Later poothadi village was divided in to Poothadi,Irulam,and Nadavayal Vilages. At Present Poothadi,Irulam and Part of Nadavayal Villages come under the Jurisdiction Of Kenichira Police Station. Vide GO (RT) 1721/82 Home of 04.06.1987. Police Station was shifted was to Govt. Building with Poothadi Panchayath No. P.P V/380 on 23.02.1988 . The Present Panchayath No. of the Building is P.P-XIX- 11
