Kottayam East Police Station

The station was opened in 01.07.1950 at Kanjikuzhi as Kasba and later shifted to the Eastern side of the civil station as Kottayam East Police station. Now this station is functioning in govt building in ward no.19,House No. 58 of Kottayam Municipality from 06.09.90 Vide Go (RT0 5603/89 Home dated 08.10.89. An additional building was constructed recently with a hall, thondy room, and rest room for women constables.
