Arrest in Mankada Police Crime 44/2021 U/S 143,365,342,506(ii),120B r/w149 IPC.

Gist of the case: It’s a case of abduction for wrongfull confinement reported in Mankada police station of Malappuram Police District on 28.03.2021 on the complaint made by Mr.Saifudheen aged 35/21 S/0 Ebrahim, Cholasseri House, Cheriyam, Mankada post, Malappuram. The defacto complainant alleged that his younger brother Shamsudheen aged 33/21 was intercepted by some unknown people on 28.03.2021 at Vadakkangra road near Mankada town while he was out in search of a job. The gangsters came in an Innova car bearing fake registration number and abducted the brother by dragging him forcefully into the car. Hence forth no details got regarding his whereabouts.
During the investigation it was revealed that there was a criminal conspiracy by the accused A1 to A10 abiding by the instruction given by the accused Alangadan Shafeer (Here after A11) who is abroad now, to abduct the brother of the defacto complainant suspecting that he has got some involvement in an incident of missing some raw gold that was parcelled from abroad to India through Karipur airport by A11, some years before, through a lady carrier. Based on this incident A1 to A10 formed themselves to an unlawful assembly, made a criminal conspiracy to commit the offence and accordingly committed the offence on the said day. in this case 9 Accused arrested  and  the vehicles recovered
