Marangattupilly Police Station

The Marangattupilly Police Station was inaugurated on 19/06/1979 in building that belongs to St.Francis Chruch near the market Jn of Marangattupilly based on the order GO RT 1207/79. The new Police Station building was opened by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Sri K.Karunakaran on 30/01/1987. Andoor, Elackad, Kurichithanam, Vayala, Marangattupilly, Mannakkanad, Palakkattumala, Nellithanathumala were determined as the Station area of this Police Station. Sri. M T Cyriac was appointed as the first Sub –Inspector of this Police Station.
