| Started function on 09.12. 2018. Vide GO (P) No. 65/2018/Home Dtd. 13.10.2018. Station was inaugurated by Sri. G. Siva Vikram IPS, then District Police Chief, KannurThe police station started functioning in the building having No. IX/204 of Keezhallur Grama Panchayath constructed temporarily for KIAL on the eastern side of the terminal. Jurisdictions of the station area coming inside the Airport compound wall in Morkanparamaba in Keezhallur Panchahath and area of Kallerikkara ward of Mattannur Municipality coming inside the Airport compound wall. The station has formed only for tackling the law and order situation within the compound wall of the Airport No public are residing in the station limit. The whole area of the station is owned by KIAL. No other public institutions which are depending by general public are functioning in the station limit except the airport. The Magisterial jurisdiction of the station is judicial first class Magistrate court, Mattannur. Revenue District is Kannur and Revenue Divisional office is Thalassery. And the station limit is falling in both Thalssery and Iritty Taluks. |
