No. 1004/61/Home (D) Dated 15.06.1961. and it was renamed as Railway Police  Station, Palakkad As per GO Rt. 1554/81/Home Dated 30.06.1981. in Building No. 531-A in Survey No. 134 situated in Palakkad Municipal Town in Kavilpad Amsom in Kavilpad DEsom in Palakkad  Taluk with a jurisdiction of  Mile 338/1 & 2(Madras - Mangalore Line) Parli To Mile 316-3 & 4 Between Walayar & EttimadaiMile 358/1-2 (Olavakkode – Pollachi Line) To Mile 377/ 16 Between Meenakshipuram & Muthalamada and later The Railway Police Station, Palakkad was shifted to New Building situated above the RPF Station, Palakkad as per GO(Rt) 1604/05/Home Dated 28.06.05.
