Palode Police Station was a out post at Vithura.After Gazet notification station function in a temporary building . The station was openend on 03.02.1981. The present station is functioning in this building on 20.03.1990. This Building is situated in Nanniyode Gramapanchayath.Palode Police Station (Formerly Out post of Vithura) is upgraded as a charging station on 03.02.1981 as per SRO 132/81 vide No. GO(RT)273/81/Home dtd. 30th January 1981 published in Government of Kerala Extra Ordinary Gazette notification
