Rajakkadu Police Station

The Rajakkad Police Station formerly known as Valiyakndam Police Station which was opened on 15.11.1972 vide GO (RT)1614/72/home dated 30.10.1972 the station was housed in a hired building with No V/326 of Rajakkad panchayath. The name of Valiyakandam Police Station was changed as Rajakkad Police Station on 04.05.1978 vide GO (RT)882/78/home dated 03.05.1978 The Police Station was shifted to a new dormitory building on 01.04.1992 GO (RT)1484/92/home dated 24.3.1992. This Police Station was under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Police Idukki District ,Sub-division Munnar,Circle -Adimaly
