Ranny Police Station

Ranni is derived from similar word in Malayalam which means "Queen" or "Rani". Ranni is known as "The Queen of the Eastern Hill Lands". Ranny Police Station was opened on 23.05.1124 (ME) as per G.O.R.O.C 427/G 1/48 dtd 02.12.1948. Formely this station was out post of Pathanamthitta Police Station. New building of this Police Station was opened on 18.03.2004.
