Jurisdiction of Sooranadu Police Station

This Police station is under the administrative jurisdiction of the Kottarakkara Sub Division. Sooranadu Police Station is located about 200 meters away from Chakkuvally junction. In front of the Police Station Sree Chakkuvally Parahbrahma Temple and Govt. HSS Poruvazhy situated. The geographical area of the station includes 3 villages – Sooranadu North, Sooranadu South, and Poruvazhy and 3 Panchayath Sooranadu North, Sooranadu South, and Poruvazhy. The station is situated adjacent to Kollam–Theni National High Way. Kerala’s one and only Duryodhana Temple, Poruvazhy Peruviruthi Malanada Temple are situated 3 km east of this Police station. The station is situated adjacent to Kollam–Theni National High Way. The Pallikkal River flows through the northwest border of the station. Sooranadu is one of the border Police stations of Kollam Rural and shares its border with Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta districts.
