Palakkad Town North Police Station

The Palakkad Town North Police Station was formed and opened in the year 1913. Since then it has been functioning in the building situated in 61 cents of land in survey No.1890/2 in Palakkad-I village.At the time of opening this Police Station was under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Police , Malabar District of which the present Palakkad District was a part under the Madras Government . At the time of opening Akathethara Thenoor, Kinavalloor , Kalloor Peruvemb, Koduvayur villages were included in the Palakkad Town Police Station.  On 01.01.1973 Palakkad Town Police Station was bifurcated in to Palakkad South and North.
