Vanchiyoor Police Station

The date of opening of Vanchiyoor police Station is on 26/05/1959. The old Puthen Chantha Police Station which functioned near Ayurveda College Hospital,Thiruvananthapuram was shifted to the Vanchiyoor court compound and renaming it as Vanchiyoor Police Station. The police station started functioning in the present new building from 13/09/2007 onwards. The police station building is situated in the Govt.land having an extent of 22.5 cents comprised in surevey number 1687 of Vanchiyoor village.
