Vellathooval Police Station formed in the year 1987 as per the G.O (RT) 3533/87/ Home Dated 23.09.1987 and in the year 2004 a new building was constructed and shifted the station from the old one to the present building . The Police station jurisdiction is comprising of 3 villages fully and 2 Villages are partially. The Police Station is situated approximately 50 meters away from Vellathooval town. Panniyar, Sengulam and Pallivassal Hydro Electric Projects are functioning in this Jurisdiction So many worship Centers of different communities are also situated in the station jurisdiction. Of the worship places Anachal Ayyappa Temple and the festival “Mandala Utsalv” is very famous.
