The Police Station Started Functioning In 11.01.2013. . Kadampuzha Police Station Is Situated In Survey No Rs. No. 184 of Melmuri Village. Police Station Is Located On The Northen Side Of Kozhikkode – Thrissure National Highway Road About 2 Km North Of Kanjippura Junction. The Govt Of Kerala, As Per Notification, Published As Go( Rt) No. 49/2013 Home Dtd. 08.01.2013 Declared Building No Ix/2G Of Melmuri Village Tirur Taluke As Kadampuzha Police Station With Effect From 11Th January 2013 And The Said Police Station Is Presently Functioning In The Said Rented Building In Marakkara Panchayath. The new station building construction work is completed and waiting for inauguration in survey No. 180 / I A4 of Melmuri village, situated in the opposite side of present Police station the most important places is Kadampuzha temple under the Kadampuzha PS Limit.
The Kadampuzha Devi Temple believed to have been consecrated by Adi Shankara. Situated in Marakkara grama Panchayath, Kadampuzha is 2.7 km away from Vettichira on the Thrissur-Calicut national highway.
