Kozhikode City Kasaba Police Station

Kasaba Police Station is a Janamaithri Police Station with 6 Beats. It situates at the heart of the city. The jurisdiction of this station was originally attached to Kozhikode Town station and was bifurcated and this station was opened on 15th May 1926, as ordered in G.O.No. 103 dated 23rd February 1926. The old police station was housed in a rented building at Kallai Road in Building No. 106 (A) in T.S. No. 737 in ward 17 of Block 17 in Kasaba amsom. The station house were subsequently shifted to the Government building in the Taluk office compound on 12-06-1963 FN as per G.O. No. 1289/63 Home dated 06-06-1963, SPs reference No. B1-21247/60-D dated 18-06-1963. The Police Station is later shifted to the new building on 16.04.2015 Vide GO RT NO. 663/2014 Home dtd 24.02.2014 in building number 17/1063 B in ward 17 of Kozhikode corporation.
