Panoor Police Station was opened before 1889. The panoor Police Station comprised with 4 Panchayaths Panoor, Mokeri, Panniannore and some part of Kunnothparamba and Panoor Municipality. There are 4 Higher Secondary Schools and a College is situated in the station limit.
