Thalasseri Police Station

The name Thalassery gives a good impact to the Historians mind. It is a land with great scenic beauty and abounds in historical buildings and land marks of note. One of the most important trading centers of Kerala from the early days and it lies 21 Kms away from Kannur. Thalassery Police Station came in to existence in the year 1899 in Private building as per the Order of Madras Government. The Police Station started functioning in the New Building on 04.08.1984 (Order No.G.O.(Rt) No.2446/86/Home dated Trivandrum 6th September 1986) and the jurisdiction of the Police Station consists of Thalassery Village,Thiruvangad Village and Eranholi Village
