Elamakkara Police Station started functioning on 23.02.14 vide Govt. notification issued with G. O. (Rt.) No. 624/2014/Home(E) Department dated 22.02.2014 . The Police Station is functioning in a rented building No. 48/1471&48/1472 in survey No. 214/8,B1 of Edappally South Village. The area of jurisdiction of the Police Station includes one Taluk, 3 Villages and 7 Karas.
