NEDUPUZHA Police Station

Nedupuzha Police Station was opened on 15.11.1972 as per GO(Rt) 1616/72/Home dated 30.10.1972 in House No. 5/601 of Koorkkenchery Panchayath near Women’s Poly Technic, Nedupuzha as rented building. Station shifted to Valiyalukkal in H No 1/693 of Sarojini Amma W/o Ravindranathan Nair, Ravimandiram, Thaikkattukkara, Aluva with rent of Rs 288 per month on 15.8.1975 On 26.04.1990 land for construction of Police Station and quarters 0.7480 Hectors (1 acre 84 cents) in survey No 267/4 is Kanimangalam Village received from Revenue Inspector land acquisition (LA) General Thrissur as per order G2 (a) 14891/88 R dated 25.04.1990 Sanction has been accorded by the Director General of Police for rupees 7.30 Lakhs for the construction work of new police station building and entrusted the executive engineer PWD building Division Thrissur for arranging the work immediately on 21.11.1995 vide order No G2(a)/46838/94 R 23.12.1995 On 30.12.1999 newly constructed building handed over to the police department. Government ordered to open the new building as police station TC 40/885 vide order GO (Rt) 1559/01/Home Dated 17.04.2001 Building inaugurated by Sri. A K Antony, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala on 29.07.2001 at 11.30 AM
