Kumbla Police Station

Kumbla Police Station was opened on 23.11.1961 as per G.O (RT) No 1720/home dtd 13.01.1961 .The station was housed in new building on 15.10.1979 as per G.O (RT) 1748/79/Home dtd 07.09.1989 . 8 Hour duty system commenced on 01.06.2007 as per order No S1/53688/2006 dtd 23.05.2007 of DGP Kerala .Janamaitry Project commnsed from 08.12.2011 vide G.O(RT) No 3161/2007/Home dtd 23.11.2007. Kumbla Police Station is situated in the northern side of Kasaragod district and 11 Km away from District head Quarters.Kumbla Police Station was opened on 23.11.1961 as per G.O (RT) No 1720/home dtd 13.01.1961 .The police station is touching the border of manjeswar,Badiyadukka,Kasargod,Vidyanagar Police Stations.The railway line and the National Highway are passing near by the Police Station,The Majority of inhabitans Hindu sand Muslims .Kannada ,Malayalam, and Tulu are the common languages using by the people.Kumbla ,Bandiyod,Mangalpady and Kukkar are the communaly sensitive areas of the olice Station.Ananthapura Temple built in the ancient period at Ananthapuram of God Anantha Padmanabha is situated 4 Km east of the station.
