As per the notification GO.RT.No.1816/Home Dated 07.09.1978 the Rajapuram police station started in No.435 and building No.315 in the X ward of Kallar Grama panjayath near Rajapuram Town in Kallar village, Vellarikundu Taluk. The jurisdiction of police station covers within its boundary the whole area of Kallar Grama Panjayath and in Panathady Panchayath and Kodom Village in Kodom Belur grama Panchayath. The jurisdiction comes under Kallar, Kodom and Panathady revenue villages.
