Trikarpur Coastal Police Station
Trikaripur Coastal Police Station was inaugurated on 27.06.2017 through video conferencing by Hon’ble Kerala Chief Minister Sr.Pinarayi Vijayan as per coastal security scheme Phase-II. There is a vast Coastal Area around 40 kms covered by Trikaripur Coastal Police Station. Station limit starts from Thayyil Kadappuram, the boarder of Ezhimala Naval Academy to Ajanur Kadappuram in Hosdurg Police Station limit. Maximum number of Fishing Boats and other Boats are entering through Azhimugham(Entrance to Arabian Sea) near Trikaripur Coastal Police Station. There are 2 boat jetties constructed, 1)Madakkara Harbour Boat jetty and 2)Thaikkadappuram Boat jetty and also 6 notified Boat Landing centres and more than 10 un-notified Boat landing centres situated in the coastal area of Trikaripur Coastal Police Station limits. The newly inaugurated Thrikkaripur Coastal Police Station was situated in the middle of Arabian Sea and Nileshwar Payaswini River. The Azhimugham is situated nearly 200 meter from Police Station. Azhithala is a good place for Tourism purpose and also Nileshwaram Municipality is proposed for Tourism programmes. A Proposed Coastal High Way is going through Trikaripur Coastal Police Station limits and a proposed bridge is being constructed through Payasini River near the Coastal Police Station Ahithala Trikripur Coastal Police Station is situated very near to the Arabian Sea. Most of the people lived in the Jurisdiction of Trikaripur Coastal Police Station are fisherman. They have small fishing boats for fishing in the river and other big fishing boats are used in the sea. A very vast Beach area is situated from Azhithala to Ajanur Kadappuram.
