Ambalathara Police Station

Ambalathara Police Station was opened as per GO (Rt) No. 552/05/Home Dtd 30.01.2004 and on 04.03.2005, started functioning in a rented building near Ambalathara Town officially inaugurated by Sri. Ummanchandi, the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala.  Later the station was shifted to the present new Govt. building  No.PPVII/159 in Pullur Village vide GO (Rt) No. 1561/ 08/ Home Dtd 17.05.2008 inaugurated by Sri. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Hon’ble Home Minister of Kerala on 05.07.2008. The station limit is having high landes and with steep roads SH road from Mavungal to Panathur is situating within this station limit.  The entire jurisdiction is tarred roads and can easily access everywhere.No railway facilities within this station limit.  Nearest railway station is at Kanhangad , 8 KM west from Ambalathara Police Station.-
